Sasha studied photography at London College of Printing. She spent most of her time in the darkroom where she developed her passion for printing and color work. She explored these fields further at Hempstead May post house, where she transferred her love of printing to the digital realm while also working as a production assistant for producer Jo Mathews with clients such as Vanity Fair with Annie Leibovitz and Aquascutum with Mario Sorrenti. In 2008 she moved to NYC to work with Mario Sorrenti and his team assisting in retouching projects, onset production assisting and GMG printer maintenance. She continued her freelance career as a retoucher, where she worked with Inez and Vinoodh, Mario Sorrenti, Terry Richardson, Greg Kadel, Paola Kudacki, and retouching houses such as Arc Lab, Stereohorse, Revolver, Velem and Hempstead May. In 2015 she committed to a full time retouching position with Inez and Vinoodh. It was during this time that she really refined her skills as a retoucher. Not only did she evolve her creative skill set she expanded her managerial responsibilities where she supervised a team of people, liaised with clients and worked on a very personal level with Inez and Vinoodh. She nurtured these relationships and fostered the utmost respect for the photographers’ creative integrity and vision. She is currently working as a senior freelance retoucher for clients such as Airbnb, Inez & Vinoodh, Steven Meisel, Elle Magazine, Urban Studios and more.
